Because Gal Pals Are everything
While everyone is gearing up to celebrate Valentine’s Day with chocolates, flowers, teddy bears and I-heart-You balloons, let’s take a moment to appreciate the amazingness that Gal-entines Day is.
Never heard of Gal-entines? Here is what you need to know about it:
- It is a holiday that Leslie Knope made up (Amy Pohler’s character on hit TV show Parks & Recreation)
- It falls on February 13
- It is a day dedicated to celebrating all your amazing gal pals (#girlpower)
- You and your girlfriends get together for a brunch, spa getaway, grownup sleepover (like regular sleepover but with booze), catch up on life, exchange gifts and compliment each other on how badass/gorgeous/amazing you all are
Sounds fun, right?
